Questions We Get Asked
How much does an ERP cost for a small business in Egypt?
For a 10 to 20 person company, budget 125,000 to 180,000 EGP for an Odoo Enterprise implementation, or 75,000 to 250,000 EGP for ERPNext. That covers setup, configuration and go-live. Add hosting from 4,500 EGP a month and 20 to 30 percent for migration, integrations and e-invoicing.
Is Odoo free in Egypt?
Odoo Community is free to license but you still pay for implementation, hosting and support, which is where nearly all the cost sits. Odoo Enterprise is licensed per user in USD, so the EGP figure moves with the exchange rate. Neither version configures itself.
What is the cheapest ERP system in Egypt?
ERPNext on self-hosted infrastructure has the lowest entry point, from around 75,000 EGP for a small implementation. Cheapest to start is not always cheapest over three years. Fewer local specialists means slower support and higher rates when you need help.
Why do ERP quotes in Egypt vary so much?
User count, how many modules you switch on, how much of your process needs custom work, and how much legacy data has to be cleaned and migrated. Two 30 person companies can be 200,000 EGP apart because one runs standard processes and the other has fifteen years of spreadsheet habits to encode.
What does ETA e-invoicing integration cost?
30,000 to 80,000 EGP depending on your invoice volume and how your ERP handles tax. It is mandatory for most Egyptian companies and penalties reach 100,000 EGP, so it belongs in the first budget rather than a later phase.
Do I need an ERP or just accounting software?
If your problem is bookkeeping, accounting software is cheaper and faster. You need an ERP when inventory, sales, purchasing and finance stop agreeing with each other and someone spends their week reconciling spreadsheets. That handover point is usually somewhere between 10 and 30 staff.
